Gurugram · Sector 108, Dwarka Expressway
Towers flanked by Delhi's reserved greens on two sides, an 8.5-acre park below and the expressway at the gate. Open light, open wind, open views.

What we know
Sobha City is 39 acres in Sector 108 with direct frontage on the Dwarka Expressway and Delhi's reserved greens on two sides. More than 1,100 families live in the first fourteen towers, four homes to a floor across stilt-plus-18 to stilt-plus-24 storeys, with 2, 3 and 4 BHKs from about 1,380 to 2,960 sq ft; the final Vista Residences phase is still being built. Underneath is an 8.5-acre park with a one-acre lakelet, two clubhouses, a cricket ground and a putting green, and the towers have been handed over since 2021.
The site is unusually open for Gurugram: green on two sides and the expressway on a third means more light and more wind than a tower hemmed in by other towers. The flats are newer, so the balconies are a blank slate and the families are mostly young. A Sobha City balcony garden is about using that light well: a kitchen garden on the sunny side, something calm to sit in on the other, and planting that holds up to the dust the expressway and the sector's remaining construction send over.
Your space
Every plan starts with a free visit. These are the ideas we usually bring.
Deep troughs of herbs, chillies, mint and leafy greens on the sunny side, drip on a timer, and a chalkboard of what is ready. Children pick; nobody has to remember to water.
Two chairs, a deck, a tall screen of bamboo or areca for privacy from the next tower, and low lighting. The park does the rest.
Glossy climbers and foliage on the expressway side that wash clean in minutes, planted dense enough to take the edge off the wind and the noise.
Plants that last here
With greens on two sides, nothing breaks the wind before it reaches the upper floors. Heavy planters, bendy plants (grasses, bamboo, bougainvillea) and a screen on the windward end keep the rest sheltered.
Fine road dust settles daily. Choose glossy, washable leaves over fuzzy ones; a rinse is part of every Care visit.
Many Dwarka Expressway societies have moved between tanker and piped supply over the last few years, and quality varies. We use a free-draining mix, slow feed and flush the pots on visits.
Four flats to a floor means every balcony faces a different way. The designer maps the hours of sun at the visit; west-facing gets the tough plants and a light screen for May and June.
Society rules
Sobha City's towers are managed phase by phase and we have not seen a published balcony rulebook, so the designer checks with your tower's association. Nothing hangs outside the railing, nothing is drilled, drip lines stay inside the planters, and every planter sits on a tray.
